My name is Rick Hill. Please take a moment to look around the website and see if we can convince you to spend spend some time with us. Whether  it's a fun and memorable day fishing on the lake, or a multiple day adventure including fishing and lodging. We would like to have you as our guest.

You pick the start times

You don't need to Worry about the weather

If you think it's too rough on the lake we can reschedule or refund

Walk on 4 hr trips are $75.00 per person for 1 to 6 people.

APRIL WALLEYE JIGGING SPECIAL

If you haven't spring jig fished for Western Basin Walleye, then you've missed some pretty special angling. If casting and jigging sounds like more fun than trolling for walleye (I know it does to me). Then this trip is for you.

Brett has been fishing the Western Basin for 25 years, and enjoys helping folks catch fish.

The boats

Sportcraft 230 Sportsman

 Will accommodate 1 or 3 fisherman comfortably.

Set up for perch, fishing using a "spotlock" trolling motor for quick and easy location changes to stay on the fish.

Walleye, jigging and casting with drift bags  and big planer boards for trolling.

Sportcraft 300 Great Lakes

 Will accommodate 3 to 6 fisherman comfortably

What to Bring

Cooler to bring home your fish

Camera

Valid Ohio Fishing License (available at Wild Wings Marina)

Sunglasses and Suntan Lotion

Rain gear and warm coat

Hat

Soft Soled Shoes

Dramamine or wrist bands if subject to motion sickness

Lunch, snacks and drinks.  No glass please!

All rods, lures, bait and tackle (you are welcome to bring your own.

Coolers and ice on the boat

    Fish Cleaning

    Clean your fish at the dock cleaning station, or let Shatto's Fish Cleaning do the work for you.

    Shatto's will professionally fillet and bag your catch. They are located in the parking lot behind Wild Wings Restaurant and lounge, and will gladly clean your fish while you eat or relax at Wild Wings.
